Starting on October 1st, Verizon will be rolling out it’s new Verizon 5G Home Internet and TV Service. This will replace traditional wired connections to homes with 5G antennas similar to those found in your current smartphone. The major difference being the speeds or bandwidth that this new service can provide. 5G technology can allow for download speeds in the gigabit range instead of the megabit range. The current pricing will be $50/month for existing customers of Verizon Wireless and $70/mo for new subscribers. Currently the speeds are advertised as being from 300mbps to 1Gig. The limited initial rollout is going to be started in the following cities: Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles and Sacramento.
