Since 2009, the Connected Nation (Minnesota) has been awarded $4,470,035.00 in federal dollars for Minnesota's "Minnesota Broadband Development" program. Minnesota has awarded these monies to 12 organizations and departments within the state.

Plans to open a local COCO, a coworking and collaborative space with up-to-date technology that can be shared by startup businesses and individuals who work for themselves or for employers based elsewhere.
